Who should I start as my 3rd receiver? We get 6 pts for TDs, 1 point per 10 yards, and a point per reception.

Tony Gonzalez
Roddy White
Derrick Mason
Justin Gage

Roddy White is the most likely player to get a TD out of that bunch.

I was planning on starting Kevin Smith, but I'm hearing that Rudi Johnson will get snaps. Should I play Edge James over Smith today?

That's who I have in right now. Gage is out of the loop for me. Gonzalez is out because of the weather conditions, and I'm still considering Mason.

Ok, which QB to start?

P Rivers Vs. Carolina

or

A Rodgers Vs. Minnesota

???

I think Rodgers because the Packers won't be able to run at all, they'll be forced to pass a lot. Vikings didn't give up a lot of passing yards per play last season, but they gave up a lot of overall passing yards because that was all any team could do against them.

I would also go with Roddy White

Personally, I'd go with Mason.

They're playing Cincy and what I read on Yahoo! was Flacco and Mason had a tight-knit relationship. So, I'd expect him to look Mason's way plenty of times.

I don't expect Mason to put up amazing numbers, but the fact that it's a PPR league helps both of our causes out! :)

I was surprised to read that Mason was third behind TO and Ocho Cinco in total receptions over the last 5 years.

Decisions, decisions...

I dunno. I'm starting Kevin Smith because I figure he'll get a lot of carries to prove if he's their guy or not. And the Cards ought to be airing it out pretty heavy today, so I guess I'd go Smith over James.

Ceej 09-07-2008 10:27 AM

Tough call Reaper.

But, I can't possibly seeing RJ getting a ton of touches. Maybe somewhere 8-12. I would probably wouldn't put too much into it. I'd roll with KSmith for that reason and like the Cardinals - Edge has been average at best.

Gimme Smith.

Reaper16 09-07-2008 10:31 AM

Thanks guys. I was leaning towards Smith still myself, now I'm committed to it.

KCinNY 09-07-2008 10:34 AM

L. Coles or I. Bruce??

E. Graham or J. Lewis??

Thoughts anyone?

Ceej 09-07-2008 10:40 AM

I think this week Coles = Bruce. Flip a coin.

I heard Lewis was a bit dinged up this week too. Give me Graham.

Ceej 09-07-2008 10:41 AM

Actually, I would feel comfortable knowing Favre was throwing to my WR and not JT O'Sullivan.
