The true test of our season relies on how much steroi...I mean mom's lasagna Nicky Lopez has been eating.

I hope she and Whit Merrifields mom talk. Whit's mom makes some wicked HGH meatloaf.

Singer Kowar and Bubic all need to be on the 60 man

He has a guaranteed contract. Like every other baseball player.

Do you agree baseball should have guaranteed contracts? Kennedy is the argument against them.

100 percent.

I always side with the players on compensation.

Kennedy was an effective reliever last year and still profiles well there. Moore will move him for something by their trade deadline, though probably not for as much as they would have gotten has Glass approved the deal Moore has in place with the Braves.

Obviously Kennedy isn't providing the value he is getting paid, but I definitely wouldn't kick a reliever off the team that is averaging 4.3 strikeouts to every walk, carries a solid ground ball rate and saw his velocity go up in a bullpen role. Kennedy would be a good sixth inning relief option, maybe seventh inning, on a championship squad.

Why is Foster Griffin on the 40 man?

Al Bundy 06-28-2020 07:10 PM

I ran into Alex Gordon tonight at The Shake Shack in Leawood, super cool guy.

He showed promise as a reliever in the Dominican Winter League, striking out 31 and walking six over 23 1/3 innings.

Zimmer is super cheap, has tons of control, and has premium velocity as a pen arm.

There may still be a useful reliever there.
