Good pick. One of my targets for the Chiefs with the comp pick, so this would suck in real life.

I know taller corners are the thing these days, but come on. A 4.28 40 corner with multiple years of Big 10 starting experience, shutdown stats and long arms?

Bitch, I don't care if that mother****er is a goddamn midget. As it is, this guy is 5'9 (but a TALL 5'9... may as well be 5'10). Did I mention he's got an insane nose for tracking the ball, too?

Pittsburgh selects Jalen Myrick, CB, Minnesota

Cool prospect. Haven't looked into him at all. Thanks SNR.

Thanks I'd like to think Ivery put a pretty good team together. Watt, Wilson, and Hunt.

New England's celebrity draft picker is now in the green room, awaiting the Patriots' pick.

Did Hoover get a pm?

With the 94th pick in the NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons select, Ethan Pocic, C, LSU

Alex Mack made a huge difference for Atlanta, and they committed a big contract to him despite being 31 years old. Pocic is a big for a center, but he's also played tackle and guard. He's clearly not going to take Mack's center spot, but I think he becomes a fixture on the Falcons line from day one. Falcons continue to invest on both the offensive and defensive lines.

Right on cue. Nicely done

Hoover 03-28-2017 07:38 PM

I thought hard about taking him with the Broncos last pick with the idea of him being a C long-term but an immediate boost at G.

Good player.

Good player.

I probably over-value linemen (Real Fan) and I've been looking for interior linemen for both of my teams (Jags and Falcons). However, I wouldn't mind it in the least if the Chiefs grabbed a guy like this. Very unlikely with the contract we gave LTD, but still.

Well?

Rain Man 03-28-2017 08:05 PM

The year was 2000. It was Bill Belichick's first year as the Patriots' head coach. He entered the draft with numerous needs, identified a player that he liked who had been passed over by all of the other teams, and made his choice. Sixteen years and multiple Super Bowl rings later, that player is now entering the auditorium to announce the Patriots' pick. As the light glints off of his championship jewelry, he is announced to the delight of the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you three-time Super Bowl winner and the first Patriots draft pick of the Bill Belichick era, guard Adrian Klemm!
