What is your perfect world first three rounds?

32. Patrick Queen LB
63. Jaylon Johnson CB
96. Van Jefferson WR

For me I think this is it. This looked like a pretty strong possibility less than a month ago. At this point I think Queen is gone 85-90% to be gone at 32 but he does keep dropping in some mocks. Johnson also seems to be moving up too. I like Claypool a lot for the offense but I would prefer a great route runner over anything else at WR.

What say you draftabulators?

All three very solid, but I gotsta have a C or G in my first three

I definitely want IOL but not seeing a ton of value dropping to round 3. Ben Bredeson or Solomon Kindley in round 4 seem to be there frequently on mocks I have done. Last couple I tried taking Cesar Ruiz at 32 but didn't like the look of those as much.

i couldnt see ruiz if queen is there as your mock indicates.

Also, not really my point of making the thread. What are YOUR perfect first 3 rounds?

Great thread.

1. Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU
2. Lloyd Cushenberry, C, LSU
3. Logan Wilson, LB, Wyoming

Gladney
Queen
Lemieux

But as someone pointed out to me in my thread, Queen prolly won’t be there at our #2... so I’d go with Troy Dye, another excellent coverage backer

ESPN just mocked Claypool at #30 in the first round.

Plan A
1 (32) CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama
2 (63) WR/TE Chase Claypool, Notre Dame
3 (96) LB Troy Dye, Oregon

Plan B
1 (32) CB Jeff Gladney, TCU
2 (63) WR Michael Pittman Jr, USC
3 (96) LB Jordyn Brooks, Texas Tech

Plan C
1 (32) LB Patrick Queen, LSU
2 (63) CB Bryce Hall, Virginia
3 (96) WR Van Jefferson, Florida

All of these football players have been tracked to Chiefs visits.

Gotta give people something to talk about. I can't see any way Claypool goes round one. That would likely have him jumping ahead of Jefferson, and almost definitely Shenault, Reagor, Mims, Higgins, Aiyuk and Pittman Jr.

1st: LB -Queen
2nd: IOL/C - Ruiz (likely won't drop that far but this is dream scenario)
3rd: RB - Edwards-Helaire

This is also under the assumption that Veach somehow manages to patch up the CB position before the draft; kinda like he rebuilt the defense last year before the draft.
