The case for Kris Richard.
Because he isn’t Rex Ryan.

Legion of Boom. Case closed.

He's really good with DBs...I would hope though since being in Dallas, he's learned more than cover 3 press bail, half the league runs that Seattle scheme.
|
That would be a good move, but it seems like we usually get the known commodities over the young guys for DC

We can’t get him. It’s the rules. He can only be interviewed if it’s for a head coaching position

"BuT... WhY WoUlD tHeY dO tHaT iF hE iS sO gOoD"? Because clubs have given teams permission to talk to their coaching staff for a promotion for as long as I can possibly remember. They may or may not... no reason to not inquire. |
DOA.
Can’t/won’t happen. |

All KC needs to do is ask and they will very likely say yes. |

The Hunts have always been tight with Jerry Jones, he probably owes them a favor or two. If Clark asks, I bet Jerry grants them permission to talk to him...of course Jerry might also throw him a pile of cash to stay too, but I think the Chiefs get an interview if they want one. |
Richard or Hewitt would be good.
You could argue that Hewitt has done more with less. |
Does Andy know him? If he doesn't then it's not happening.
|
Kris Richard is Dallas's DC. He calls the plays and talks to all the defensive players during the games, not just the DBS. Marinelli has the title but doesn't do much. They will probably promote Richard to DC and move Marinelli to a senior advisor role. 0% chance we get Richard. He will likely be a HC after the upcoming season

Kris Richard is my choice hands down. Great with young players. Dude was born to coach. Just listen to the guy - he sounds like Bieniemy. So positive and kicks ass with every sentence. The kind of guy that you would run through a wall for. (And give your all to sack Brady or cover Gronk)
