That bitch ain't "a little" anything.ROFL

I wonder how reality TV works. I get a majority of this shit is scripted, but you're still "acting" as yourself, and not a character. Do people really really reeeeally want to look like total butt****ing morons just to get on TV?

KCUnited 08-24-2019 09:53 AM

What bar is that?

I think the answer is a resounding yes.

My wife watches the goddamned bachelor shitfest, and at any given time, at least early on, she can tell me what's going to happen.

"So and so is going to freak out and get sent home, so and so will get emotional and get sent home, and they're going to play up drama between some **** and this other ****."

It's astounding.

Sugar Creek's finest. Seriously folks, this is why the meth jokes persist. What a f**king trainwreck.

Reality TV is worse than the AIDS epidemic of the 80s.

My wife has stopped watching them around me. She knows I despise that garbage.

I used to enjoy Bar Rescue until it became so obviously staged.

Do you remember 'Fear Factor'?

People will do pretty much anything to get on TV.

My wife loves it when I walk through when that noise is on because I can't help myself and make jokes about how awful it is.

That lasts about a minute then I'm out.

Okay. Fellas. This thread has got me thinking now. Why do married women have such shitty tastes in entertainment? My wife is smarter than I am, yet new episodes of Big Bang Theory have to take precedence over everything else in life. She watches all the shitty reality TV shows, too. Bachelor, Big Brother... dunno, probably this scripted bar show too.

If I try to compromise with her and ask, "Hey, if we're watching TV together and it has to be reality-centric, can we at least do something like Chopped so I can at least watch people with some kind of talent to offer the world compete in a scripted environment?" I get a lot of, "well.... I don't know...."

Dude. You're doing life all wrong if the wife makes you watch that noise too.

Closest thing we get to reality TV while we're both watching is American Ninja Warrior. Many moon ago we watched a Top Chef Marathon, but you have to put your foot down on the bachelor shit.

Find some Marvel Movie or something that's tolerable.

Or, FFS, you're SNR. Just go into some profanity laced diatribe about it until it is also unbearable for her to watch it. I mean, you should be practiced up from CP :D
