Left the backyard to come to BWW. I can't quit you Lagunitas IPA

Easy 6 03-07-2015 06:45 PM

Tonight is a wonderful mix I watched Bourdain drink on an episode last week, somewhere in the Caribbean he had a mix of rum, ginger ale and lime... lemme tell ya, its a damn good mix.

His had a fancier fresh ginger juice, but my end result is still delicious... throw in a few beers to keep the palate interested, and its a good night so far.

It's a damn good one. I live near where they make it. Lagunitas is like the Boulevard of the North Bay Area. So many varieties. Many highly potent. :toast:

Had a couple of Jameson shots with my Flying Dog Raging Bitch IPA the other day while out at Bar Louie. It was freezing out and the shots chase the chill away!

Montana flathead cherries only grow for a short time every year. Maybe wife will let me ship in a shit ton and make a whiskey barrel full. You know that's not the name of the drink right? I mean just to clarify.

LOL, I made "Grappa" the official Qual-drink on at least three submarines, I know what terrible tastes like, so I'm sure you can't top that. As for the wife, blame me, I'm used to it.

It's a micro-brew, and shall remain just that.

I'm sure any number of fat long-haired, dirty, dreadlocks, overly-tattooed, kid, wanna-be, beer-experts would say it's awesome, but it's not. It's OK, but I've had better.

I bought it for the label, and I'll still have that at the end of the day.

JMO, but nobody who's not physically been on at least fove of the world's continents, at age, and had beers in bars/pubs/houses, should be able to after a worldly view on beer. But that's just me I guess.

It was actually refreshing from the arbol chile torta I ate with it. I had it for brunch as its more of a morning drink for me. I rim my glass with a lime chili salt as opposed to sea salt when I make them at home, with a little more Maggi, but their very much regional in how their made. There's rarely a bad one.

The whole Bloody Mary bar always cracks me up. It's a fancy way of throwing all your shit on the bar and saying make it yourself mother****er. Making a bloody Mary is a bit of a pain in the ass. Not fending off a pit bull while giving cpr or hitting the cutoff man pain in the ass, but still a pain the ass. No, if I'm going out, you're making my Bloody Mary bitch.

Holy ****, please just let me have it. I'm making fun of myself. I threw buffalo sauce in a ****ing beer after having too many lemonade whiskeys. My wife couldn't find me for a while as I was out back in the cocoon hammock and she couldn't see me. ROFL

I do think a dash in a Michelada could be good though. Not a whole ****ing tbsp though!

PM or post me some drink options you boys might want and I'll have it on hand. Good excuse to load up the liquor cabinet and the wife is gone this weekend so she can't see me do it!

I will not touch anything flavored Cinnamon after my 26th birthday celebration on a boat in the middle of a lake which included me double fisting Fireball straight from a coffee thermos in one hand and Miller High Life in the other hand.

A Montana or Moscow Mule is where it's at when it's hot out. I love the subtle taste of the ginger beer but still being about to taste some bourbon. Lime is the best fruit as well.
