The Second Coming of Led Zeppelin?

Took that from a poster I saw but have to admit the kid has some pipes and at times sounds like a young Robert Plant.

Greta Van Fleet

That voice sounds strange coming out of that face.

They have to be completely modeled off of zep/emulating Plant.

edit: kind of checked them out on youtube some more, live performances etc.. I have to say, i'm an instant fan. Very refreshing rock music.

Me too, in the 80's there was a band named Kingdom Come that was touted the same way.

I just wish Greta Van Fleet were more gritty. Then again, if they were more gritty they'd be WolfMother, also touted as the next Zeppelin.

This might not be the right place to put this, but I'm feeling encouraged by some new rock and roll that is actually good. I don't know how I've been missing the boat for the past couple of years on the band Highly Suspect, but I have been wearing out my headphones on them for a few weeks.

Established in 1985? Too bad I'm only now hearing of them. Thank you for sharing.

Established in 1985, The Flower Power Band has been performing in the tri-state area for almost three decades. Playing an extensive selection of big hits and lesser-known gems from the 60’s, the band has always been an entertaining act. With a high energy frontman the band encourages people to come up and sing or play tambourine or other hand instruments that they hand out. Since their origin, the band has stayed true to performing the music of this genre, drawing crowds off all ages that both grew up on the music, and those just discovering the music that influenced popular artist of today.

The Flower Power Band has played an enormous amount of shows in hundreds of different venues. They have done everything from birthdays to weddings to carnivals and everything in between. The band is made up of four guys who have been band-mates and friends the entire time, and still look forward to and enjoy the next “gig”. They have always been available to donate their time for charitable events, realizing that they can give something back to the communities and fans that have made it possible to have had a long and successful journey.

Lead singer, Gregg Malack started singing for the band in 2014. Gregg is a veteran of the rock scene. Gregg started the band Teeze which toured around the country for twelve years and recorded two successful independent albums, later changing their name to Roughhouse, for their third and final album (produced by Max Norman who also produced Ozzy and Megadeth) on Columbia/Sony Records. A video for the song “Tonite” was featured on MTV. Gregg’s songs have been featured on various compilation records, and “Fantasy” was on an episode of TV’s General Hospital. Teeze/Roughhouse has opened for or played with many national acts including Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Steven Adler of Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Eddie Money, Firehouse, Kix, Cinderella, Britny Fox, White Lion, Ace Frehley of Kiss, Blue Oyster Cult, Steppenwolf, Blackfoot, Black Oak Arkansas, to name a few….

Ready to hear the duet with Robert Plant...

I can't stand Plant's voice. I never have. Sounds like a cat whose tail has been run over.

Yeah, the Zep influence is unmistakable, and a bit derivative... but I just dont really care, it warms my heart to see a rock band like this getting some national attention

I'd throw this on at the lake anytime...
