Luckily, I was able to make nice with my ex (really the best solution, but sometimes not possible). I'll never forget that she screwed me over, but I forgive her. I tried to hire a good attorney but things get complicated when 3 states are involved...luckily, things worked out the way they're supposed to work out. Sorry to read this, and there's a lot of great advice. Not your fault in any way...and this includes the predictable, 'why didn't you try and fight for me to stay'. The cheaters can never accept that they caused this. The best advice I got was when I considered taking my ex back and my brother asked me if I liked how I was feeling now. I said no, and he told me don't take her back, because you will feel like this again.
