Useless Filler anyone?
I guess they need to add a bit to fill both parts.

The first half of the tv show was pure horror and scary to me. 2nd part when they are adults sucked ass. Hopefully they take liberties and make it scary from top to bottom. Take some notes from stranger things.

Agreed.

I just watched the dvd again with commentary and they mentioned the second part had a different director.

I must be one of the only ones that thought the mini series was terrible. I mean, super bad. But, I haven;t watched it since it came out, so maybe I was just jaded by the fact that all Stephen King movies suck compared to the books.

They did the same with Barlow in Salem's Lot,made him up to look like a modern day Nosferatu when King had him looking as a sophisticated businessman.King's version of Barlow IMO was way scarier.

The first part of this two part adaptation is set to be released on September 8, 2017. A sequel depicting The Losers Club's rematch with Pennywise as adults will arrive at a later date.
This is being split into two movies?

Frosty 09-01-2016 11:21 AM

Yeah, I'm not getting a good feeling about this one.

Yeah, it's been a two-parter since the project began.
Something like 4 1/2 hours long in total.
