Is that news? I feel like I'd been operating under the assumption that we had 2 picks in the 5th round all off-season. That's the Wylie comp pick, right?

And I've seen different stuff on that 7th rounder so by and large I ignore it. Thought it would be nice if we got to keep it (seems like we should).

Noone knows the exact formula for comp picks except the NFL, meaning roughly every other year there is a team that ends up with a 6th instead of a 5th, or nothing instead of a 7th, etc. Over The Cap has a good estimator, but there has been a few times it's been off before.

Also, typically you have an idea of the round, not exactly where in the back of the round you pick amongst all the others.
