Got around to finally watching the whole AFC West 2018 yearbooks & I couldn’t tell if the Chiefs played the Chargers or Broncos from their highlights & the Raiders made it their feature game as they mostly concentrated on Gruden.

Well, Playoffs? Sure is very possible.

SB ? That is going to require a ride of epic proportions. I guess, anything is possible, but it's very highly unlikely!

Our offense is going to be dynamic, can we out score everybody? Sure, but will we? Very good possibility!

Our D has to shore up the Run D , Pass R,and CB play. Do the 1st 2 and we can be average. Anything less makes us rely on PM2 too much!

The 1st 8 games have the possibility to be brutal, some how, some way, get out 4 & 4, the division will be ours.

All things go through Foxbourgh, the weak ass AFC East is a free ticket each year for HF advantage.

WT**** Patrick didn't turn the ball over much at all in college so I don't expect it so much in the pros sure he will have his learning moments just to see what he can get away with but this is a smart quarterback.

Also, as much as I’d love to see KC in a Super Bowl 10 minutes from my house, I’m thinking next year is the one with the moonshot.

Even though he takes risks or chances he has the skills to make throws others wish they could. I stand by he didn't throw many INT to his touchdowns so I don't expect many in the pros I'll say tensh

I really like Pat Mahomes.

I love that the Chiefs drafted a QB in the 1st round.

I don't like the very high expectations being placed on this kid right out of the gate, there are so many things that can happen.

The good news is he has a running game with Hunt and Spencer Ware so its not like in college where he had to do it all himself. This is a good year for him to start and a dynamic duo to pass too so I think expectations are warranted and we all know he will have some cloudy games but every quarterback has those.

the way i see it, is if your team is an 8-8 or better team, which kc is, then it's super bowl aspirations.... IMO :thumb:

If Mahomes comes out and lights up the Chargers in week 1, KC needs to get the Guinness records people out there for week 2. With Mahomes coming in, the crowd is going to be absolutely wild and could shatter noise records.

So far KC has amassed 6 weekly/monthly awards, and it's just on the other side of the half way mark.

I do not expect Pat to break any NFL touchdown or passing records, as Andy will need to rely more on the running game down the stretch. I could see though, Kareem actually vying for the rushing/td title before the playoffs hit. The wall he hit in the middle of the year last year, is proof they are saving him.

same for eric berry. i could be wrong, but there will be at some point after the season, where andy says... yeah, he was good to go from week 3, but we were winning so well, we thought, lets wait. i mean, it was an achilles, not an ankle:thumb: :D

Funny thing happened this week... after looking for work for the last three months, i have landed a fairly legit job which means...

no more live chiefs football this season unless they let me off for the super bowl. next year though i will use my four weeks annual leave for all monday/tuesday/friday games in the future. :D

so i will keep this thread going, i just won't be able to experience this thrill ride with you live (or at least a 40 second stream delay ROFL)...

so here are my 'cling to' facts as to why this team's destiny 'could' be different.

1. 49 years (am i correct?) since last SB win?
2. No 49er's as our QB going into the playoffs.
3. We didn't finish 13-3.
4. It's the worst defense ever for KC going into the playoffs. (the offense already knows it has to pick up the slack).
5. This is the first year I purchased a KC jersey (my wife has a matching one) of our QB.

I will come up with more reasons as we near our next game. :thumb:

6. Clark Hunt during post game interview actually knew times of possession and stats from moments earlier.

7. On the last day of regular season, the Chiefs broke FOUR all time records previously held. (I may be wrong, but Mahomes finishing 50/5, Tyreek with yards/season, and kelce yards/season and catches/season)

Did I miss anything?

8. No team has won the super bowl with the number one offense, and worst defense. (I don't know if this is true, but it's absurd enough a stat to think so :D )
