Ian Rap: “Berry is improving”
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bucs?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Bucs</a> are both 2-0 and both could be getting healthier: KC S Eric Berry (heel) is improving and could practice this week, while first-round DT Vita Vea could do the same. Too early to know their status for this weekend, but positive signs.</p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1041705366101352448?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 17, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Mahomes is a miracle worker.

Please. Get that useless ****stick Murray off the field.
|
I don’t expect him to be perfect, he’ll knock off some rust, but he could solve A LOT of problems on defense...

Just calling out offensive sets and getting people where they need to be will be a big step up. |
At 100%, he's basically taking the opposing TE out of the game. That is invaluable. Also a great run defender and tone setter. Team leader on defense.
Big addition. |

Berry would not have missed the wide open sack on Broken Ben.
That would have been a huge play. |

Rona Barrett working the tweets again.
I'm curious. Has Pap-aport ever actually "broken" a big story? I mean, one where he had the goods and no one else did? Also, how tall is he? FAX |
Man if Berry can just come back and be 75% of what he was in that Pats game last year, this team can win a SB.
|
"Could practice this week"
likely means, probably won't practice this week, and is probably still a few weeks away. |
I agree that just having him on the field will help. He doesn't have to be 100% up to speed, just his leadership will be valuable.
