It’s always a low first year cap hit. If it’s $6 million AAV, it will probably be roughly $4 million this year IMO.

I'm telling you, I still think that guy is a letter-perfect SDE here. I'd be pretty disappointed to see him sign somewhere for a reasonable figure that we could've brought him back under. I do wonder if there aren't more hard feelings among the 'old guard' here than we were led to believe. Those contract negotiations in '15 and '16 seem to have rubbed that group of players (Houston, Berry and Hali) pretty raw. |
Looks like all of his PFF grades dipped a little in 2018 from 2017. Probably related to the Achilles recovery.
If you get the 2017 player, he’s well worth it. |

Sounds like a good piece of clay for Daly to shape into whatever he wants without breaking the bank. Jones, Nnadi, Okafor, Speaks, TK, Williams. I think Daly can create something with that.

One for if Dorsey does a thing. Another for if Veach does that same thing. Because that's just how I roll, man. You should've seen the posts I had for Earl Thomas. Oh had I been around CP when Dorsey had evidently signed him. So much gargling was going to happen. But had Veach done it - RAAAAAGE!! Because I hate everything now. |

Well shit. Those are different people. And they both went to UT, which was all I thought I knew about Alex Okafor. Which is to say I probably don't know anything about Okafor afterall. Carry on... |
Is he an under 26 All-Pro whose never been injured on a team friendly deal? If not then **** this signing.

This forum starting to understand Veach isn’t a good GM yet? Or is it gonna take more time?

From everything i’m reading he seems to be the complete opposite of Dee Ford.
