It would be fun to have both in a 2 TE set.... BUT..... I do not see Kelce screaming for the most money ever at his position. I do not see anyone on this team doing that besides Clark. Maybe Frank just wanted one ring and then make the big monies. Cannot blame anyone for doing that but that is not going to work out with Mahomes on the roster.

Great problems to have.

Kelce: 6 seasons, 507 recs, 6465 yds, 12.8 avg, 37 TDs.

So if we double Kittle's stats to make it fair, it would be 432, 5990, 24.

Let's cut the shit. Kelce > Kittle.

But..., but..., you didn't list all of Kittle's blocks....

Also doesn't have to share the ball with Reek.

Kittle's blocking is great. But it was still awesome to see the Chiefs challenge him like they did. Breeland ran though his block and Clark threw him like a ragdoll on the Chiefs first defensive play. Kittle was still deadly on swing runs and bodied Sorenson repeatedly through the game.

Another excellent move by Spags was constantly sending a blitzer to Kittle (Spags didn't even seem to care about beating him, just keeping him engaged on the 49ers penultimate drive to keep him blocking in the backfield). Kyle deserves more heat than he's received for keeping Kittle in the backfield on multiple instances of that last drive. It's a huge win for the Chiefs every time Kittle isn't targeted on that last drive, and Spags made sure he wasn't going to get targets.

He's good, no doubt. But if he wanted to be the best he better get his butt over to the team that has Patrick Mahomes slinging the rock.

It's really simple. We have the best QB, TE and WR in the game. Anyone that says otherwise is ****ing wrong.

Hammock Parties 05-30-2020 03:00 PM

Kelce missed his rookie season, too.

And had to play with ****ing Alex Smith.

I remember that guy. The original Jimmy G.

Kittle is the best TE in the NFL currently WITHOUT a Super Bowl ring maybe.

But the best overall...

Smitty uses TEs pretty damn well. WRs on the other hand....
