Not complaining but why does NBC have a person with an aussie accent hosting the afternoon broadcast? She is attractive and the accent rocks, but it just seems weird for them to do that.

NBC is a global company. They have the rights to broadcast the games in a bunch of countries. It makes sense that they use broadcasters from English speaking countries together so they can simulcast the same broadcast in English speaking countries. On a side note, what event are you watching that has Australian host? All I am getting is a boring group on the ski jumping.

She is playing the bob Costas role. She isn't calling an event, she is the afternoon host.
