Big time desperation move. DB suck sooo bad. Rivers may get 500 yards on opening day.

Might be better off with Fuller, Nelson, and Tremon Smith. Amerson and Scandrick should be depth, not starters. If Berry can't play, every game is a track meet.

Good inexpensive veteran signing for the secondary. Nelson is dinged up, and Amerson has not looked very good in Preseason. Scandrick is a security signing allowing Smith and Springs to continue to develop.

I like it. Should be in football shape as he was released out of camp last week by the Skins.

Scandrick is not great but he's also not nearly as bad as some of you are letting on. For a while he was the best DB on that Dallas roster. That's not saying a lot but he is a serviceable player.

On another note, Fuller is as good as advertised. I have been very impressed with his cover skills. Even when a play is made against him he seems to be glued to the receiver.

Meh, cheap 1 year deal, lets hope it pays off.

In 2017 he was PFF's 108th best CB in the NFL. So that would make him the 4th best CB on most teams. So...our 2nd best?

Well, we should not have traded Peters IMO unless we got a 2nd round pick THIS year. Also should have addressed CB early in the draft, or early in free agency, so we would not need to address it the 3rd week of August...But letting go of the other JAGS you mentionrd was the right move. However, Scandrick is JAG material to add to the JAG Collection defense.

Our safeties will be trash that an intuitive announcer will able to point out that we shouldn't have let go of Ron Parker. I'm surprised the GM was brave enough to do such a large overhaul in the secondary and not keep another veteran.

I will definitly hold it against Veach if our secondary is terrible this year. I thought he was and should trade for a good CB but now he has settled for Scandrick.

if you play a fantasy football. pick the QB that plays the Chiefs every week cause this secondary is going to give up a ton of yards in the air.

We did trade for Fuller. Trading for another is highly unlikely. We made a run at Kyle Fuller in FA.
I do wish we would have drafted a CB, but they didn't.

Amerson and Scandrick....yikes. Bartee and Warfield all over again. Watch Phyllis to Allen carve these guys up on week one, then Rapistburger to Brown. Yikes. Gonna be butt ugly.

Gaines is done. I was rooting for him to be successful, but he has no burst left after those injuries.

It seems this place agrees that this signing is a prediction of how garbage the secondary is besides Fuller and a potentially health Berry.

Hard to argue these. I've got a sinking feeling we're going to see a carbon copy of Vermeil's '04 Chiefs squad this year.

Hopefully our pass rush improves by leaps and bounds this season, or our secondary will get straight scorched all season.

I saw some of Washington in the pre season. Their defensive secondary wasn't that good, and if this guy can't crack that lineup, makes you wonder why he's available.

I never once said the secondary would be fine, you ****ing weirdo.

I didn't allow myself a big huge boulder of excitement to be chipped at because we have no pass rush, no 2ndary or o-line.

Until the trench play on both sides of the ball is rectified and the 2ndary at least gets to respectable, 'don't get your hopes up'. It is that simple.

Look at the bright side; our run defense should be statistically better. Who wants to waste time running for 10-15 yards when you can easily pass for 20+ on Scamdick or Amerson?
