Scandrick hasn’t been with the team very long, I suspect he’ll get better. They in no shape or form have been great or even solid. They’ve made critical stops in both games when they needed to. In my mind they just need to be good enough and our offense will take care of the rest.

Yeah, it looked like he had a pretty good game.

I thought the biggest issue sunday was lack of pass rush.

This is why I think the stats so far have been misleading

When the game has been somewhat close our defense forced punts. The game started out with two straight Pitt punts followed by a long fga. When we were up big they came back. When the second half started and we were tied again KC forced Pitt to punt 3/5 possessions.

Same thing in Chargers game. Up 31-12 and our d goes soft and they start racking up yards and points.

I'm not saying the d is good, but it's been better than 32nd, that's for sure.

Scandrick has been a relative surprise for me. He's played pretty damned well all things considered, and he's been here all of about 4 weeks?

Said before Steelers did that to Sacksonville in the play-offs, ok they had Bell but I am not going to be totally ashamed that they scored points. The last 9 points were gifted by Chiefs mistakes, plus a stop/fumble return wrongly chalked off.

Defense has room to get better.

He’s certainly not Amerson and fits in well with this scheme as a bargain pickup

Yep. Right now Ragland and Murray are the two biggest problems on the defense.

Ragland should never ever play in any type of passing down so he really should have sat that whole game and Murray is just a bum.

O'Daniel not playing when a team throws 60 times is either A he isn't progressing or B the coaches refuse to play a rookie early.

At this point I don't think Armani Watts could be any worse than Murray he is just always out of position, always late.
