Do the idiots downvoting me really think this team would be fine without Chris Jones? He is the engine behind the entire defense.

Trading Tyreek worked because the real engine on offense is Mahomes.

Not keeping Jones would cripple the defense. I don’t think Veach is an idiot and will eventually see reason but this shit should’ve been done a long time ago.

Far apart could mean so many things. And many of those possible meanings aren't hard to bridge.

If they were far apart on years, total money, guaranteed money AND structure them it would be problematic. But it's way more likely that they are close on at least a couple of those items.
