While really not a cover we will say Gary Clark Jr just destroys this guitar solo live of Gil Scott Herron's When My Train Pulls In. Yeah I know Gary was a part in writing but I am making it a cover because its a hell of a solo. :D

I'm a Corey Taylor fan and an even bigger Lizzie Hale fan. But this just doesn't do it for me for some reason. Lizzie Hale is doing (even more) amazing stuff the last couple of years. Amazing vocalist.

No, just no. Great cover, NOT better than the original.

When I first saw that someone had covered that song I thought it was pretty damn daring. Didn't think it was a song that could, or even needed to be improved upon. I ended up being blown away by it.



Maybe listen to it louder? :shrug:

Don't get me wrong, that's a GREAT album - some great covers (other than Straight Through The Heart. Sounds herky jerky).

But nothing beats the original.
