No. Today's players are much better. I guess it is like that in most sports.

But why is that? Better training methods? Better equipment?

Put Tiger back in the day when Jack was in his prime. Would he have the same knowledge of the game that is available to him today? Vice-versa, put Jack in his prime in Tigers generation. Does he benefit from better equipment, training methods, etc?

With all sports, guys are at a different level then they were back then. Not just equipment, I would say a lot has to do with the age kids start these days. They get to devote so much time to it compared to back then.
