I’m fine with it. Especially in his limited role as Thornhill got healthy.

I’ve never been in love with Dan as a player like some but I do recognize he brings a leadership quality to the room. Tyrann respects the guy a lot for a reason. Good guy to have in a room for your younger players.

I think the Chiefs should still draft a safety on day 3.

Pretty indifferent about this, suppose he's not bad to have around. I do think we need to consider a #4 safety to replace Armani Watts, possibly in the draft. I think Sorensen can somewhat replicate what Mathieu offers, but I don't see anyone on the roster who can replace Thornhill as coverage safety.
