Brees has THREE games this season with under 200 yards passing... in today's pass happy NFL, not being able to get at least 200 yards passing in a game is Alex Smiff-caliber fail.

Which is why Mahomes will be not win it.
You saw the list of those who choose who it will be.
It isn't going to happen
Mahomes does not care. I believe he is looking and concentrating on the playoffs. His time will come
The old guard is fading and Mahomes is the best of the new comers

Yip.

SB MVP is what we're gunning for.

Don't care about it.

Go make it to the SB.

Brees had an off game last night and it hurt his chances, but it is only one game.

There is still plenty of football left in the season and horse race is not finished.

Mahomes will do well if he can put up another great game this weekend.

New Orleans has a tough schedule coming up with two games against Carolina and one against Pitt. That is a double edge sword. He could falter like he did last night and/or not put up great numbers. Or Brees would win all three games and have solid numbers thereby strengthening his changes for the MVP

He had 120 yards 1td/1int against Minnesota as well.

Mahomes will end up with such amazing numbers it would be an absolute travesty for him not to win it.

50 Plus Td's, 120 QBR, 5,000 yards, and a 14-2 record- Best in the AFC.

How is that not an MVP Season?

And let's not forget-- all the same pundits voting said the Chiefs would finish at the bottom since Mahomes will be having growing pains this year. Idiots.

Mahomes is the hottest athlete in the world right now and the best QB.

I hear yah, but there are 16 games in a season . . .

Once the season is over we can look back at all of the games, the totals, how many off games, how many good games, etc.

Of course it is always fun to look at it throughout the season and Mahomes is tearing it up, and that must be fun to watch as a Chiefs fan. :)

So this whole Kareem Hunt thing is bound to help Mahomes in the MVP race, right? Assuming he keeps rolling without Hunt keeping defenses honest, that has to work in Pat’s favor. Brees has Kamara, but Pat will be doing it without Hunt.
