That was awesome. :$2500:

I figured that out. I worked with a guy that was a big SF fan and was pissed when Joe went to KC.
23 years, sometimes things are remembered "a bit off".
I do remember the score correctly and would be happy to see that same score again

This is the Super Bowl we should have got back in '94. I remember waking up the morning of the championship games convinced it would be Montana v. Young. What a piece of shit that day turned out to be. :sulk:

Yeah. Instead we got Buffalo/Cowboys AGAIN.

2 of the worst SBs ever.

Should've kept Gannon>Grbac, and maybe we win in 1997??

Has anyone ever mentioned that??

I just try not to think about it. :#

Montana is a 49er.

Why wouldn’t he root for them over the Chiefs?

****ing Carl.

I think that's why Marty resigned. "This asshole keeps sticking me with Grbac and I keep winning with Gannon..."

I bet he rooted for the Chiefs in that 1997 44-9 game. I think he was probably still pissed at the niners for letting him go.

There’s no reason to get butthurt over this. Lots of players have Hall of Fame careers with one team and play a year or two with another team at the end.

Should Michael Jordan always make sure he mentions the Washington Wizards whenever the Bulls play for the NBA championship?

The thread starter needs to just get over it and enjoy the ride.

Joe is still cool in my book.
Doesn't he own half the commercial property around Levis stadium?

Remember back in Nov 97 when he lead the chiefs to a 44-9 victory over the niners?
to this day I still call SF the forty four to niners.

I know he owns a condo where the tenants are suing the developer and the city because the building may topple in an earthquake. Tallest apartment building west of the Rockies.
