I went to a nice restaurant in a group with a girl that was so afraid to order ketchup for her steak, even though that's the way she has always had it.

If you like it, that's good enough for me. I've never tried it.

For a cheap steak, yeah I will. I eat a lot of eye of round for nutritional purposes only and I'll do ketchup with them.


For a good steak, no way...no sauce at all.

Even a cheap steak deserves horseradish or A1 before you would ever consider ketchup.

Ketchup is designed for French fries and literally nothing else.

If my mother-in-law cooked the steak - yes. Otherwise - hell no.

Imo it's blasphemous to ruin a good steak with any type of condiment.

BBQ sauce on pork steak but not on beef steak. I don't know, just doesn't do it for me. With a cheap steak, I like pico.
