Well, if last night Vinnie is closer to the real thing than the first 11 games, and once BW gets locked in (he has great exit velo so far, but not much to show as far as power/rbi), this team could be good. In "1st or 2nd place in August" good, an interesting team because there should also be som guys in AA and AA making noise by then.

Big "IF"...but if Will Smith hadn't badly blown up two Save opportunities (I know one was a 2 run lead), they would be at 10-2 with the best record in beisbol ��. It's early, but it's also April which the Rs have about a .200 win % historically. It would be a sign of improvement if they had the best record in baseball after the first series of the year, let alone after 4.

Winning now is a major confidence builder! The test will come later this month and the 1st of May when the schedule gets much tougher.

Good recovery there. That's 1000% a 3-4 run inning last year and we'd all be like "here we go."
