I really don’t know what was going on in the guy’s head. He’s a ****ing hoss. He takes hits from linemen and linebackers multiple times per game and doesn’t shy away from contact. He’s obviously not a pussy.

I feel like, maybe, he thought the people diving for the ball would cause it to squirt backfield more and he’d have a better chance of falling on it there.

Either way, again, diving head first into a scrum like that is super dangerous.

Most over rated player in the league. How he won the NFL MVP I'll never understand. With 2 min to go, down by 7, there's gotta be 20 quarterbacks I'd want before him.

You'd make a horrible GM if you think having a petulant, whiny frontrunning loser as your team leader is a good idea. Newton is the biggest waste of talent to come around in a long time and if you can't see that, it's your problem.

He's not awful but he's definitely overrated and will probably never win anything more than he's already won.

Uhh, probably because of the 45 TDs he scored that season. He strapped that offense to his back and carried them to a 15-1 record. They averaged 31 PPG with ****ing Corey Brown and Ted Ginn as their WR "talent" for God's sake.

He was ****ing awesome that year.

He sulks on the sidelines when his team loses. Welcome to ****ing like half the QBs in this league. Rodgers does the same shit, Brady does the same shit, Peyton did the same shit. At least Cam isn't likely to throw a tantrum or berate a coach like that douche Brady.
