Took this yesterday of the Rams (and probably not the Chargers) stadium build progress. It's starting to look like something. :)

Already too many seats for the Bolts.

Does it have a Chiefs flag buried under the field?

To have Final Four, major concerts and other events year around that you can't have outside even in Los Angeles.

Even the original Colosseum had a "Velarium" in a comparable climate along the Mediterranean. It was an engineering masterpiece. When it comes to bread and circuses, price is not an object.

It is going to be great seeing this place filled with more Chiefs fans than Chargers losers when we play them.

I miss the Hollywood Park Casino and Racetrack they tore down.

70,000 seats. My initial thought was why so few, then I remembered we're talking about Rams/Chargers.

SoFi stadium is expandable to allow seating for more than 100,000 people, which makes it perfect for the 2028 Olympics

This stadium will have perfect social distancing as it's easy to split 10,000 fans in a 100,000 seat arena.

They probably should have went smaller than that in LA, they don't tend to support their football teams much when they are not doing great. Plenty of other crap to do is probably part of it.

Yeah, the 2028 Olympics will be held in Los Angeles and I am absolutely stoked about it. I've watched the Olympics every year since 1972, with the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles being my all time favorite because the USA had SO MUCH boxing talent that led to nine gold medals for the USA.

Holyfield was so totally ripped off from a gold medal but he handled it with grace and poise. Many of the other guys went on to have illustrious careers, including Meldrick Taylor and Sweet Pea Whitaker. I don't know if we'll ever see that kind of dominance in an Olympic Sport ever again but hopefully, I'll be able to catch a few of the events live and in person.
