MAHOMES ZONE ENTERED

Red Dawg 08-17-2018 07:58 PM

Feels better than losing and I will lay off the OL for a few days. Mahomes stayed pretty clean. Defense though. It was ugly in the first half. They were bad, again.

KCFalcon59 08-17-2018 07:59 PM

What a ****ing throw though!

That's because the _efense is bad...
You're right, the OL played better.

scho63 08-17-2018 08:04 PM

So glad I saw that bomb from Mahomes and Tyreek blowing past not one, not two but THREE DEFENDERS who were covering him to score!!!

I'll take a hit!

This will be Sutton's retirement season if this is the trend.

They cut "problematic" or players that don't fit, thus the blame goes to Mr Magoo

They gave Mahomes time to throw a 68+ yard pass to Hill, there were some meh moments too.

ROYC75 08-17-2018 10:37 PM

A few good plays here and there.

Nothing to get to excited about except some future Mahomes / Hill, Watkins bombs.

NOTHING to get excited about?

Nah. Nothing but 70 yard air bombs to the fastest player in the league.

Psssssshhh

If you aint excited 'bout that it's time to check your pulse.

These two running backs named WILLIAMS could shock the world. I like their style.

Yep. Though the OL showed some improvement from week 1.

BigRedChief 08-18-2018 08:29 AM

Finally got to watch the game. Mahomes throw

big nasty kcnut 08-18-2018 10:09 AM

Rep me Amadeus!

Chief Northman 08-18-2018 10:54 AM

Stock up:
- Chad Henne, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, Tremon Smith, Armani Watts, Ben Nieman, Gehrig Dieter, Derrick Nnadi

Stock down:
- Cameron Erving, Sammy Watkins, David Amerson, Leon Mcquay, Ukeme Eligwe, Terrance Smith

* Pass protection was much better than last week, but run blocking was pedestrian.
* Watkins looked disinterested and had questionable effort both on the INT and the end zone pass breakup.
* Eligwe and Smith were garbage. Hitchens and Ragland can’t play soon enough...
* Tremon Smith should challenge to start as a nickel corner at minimum. Outside of Fuller, the rest of the secondary look like journeyman. I am fearing news that Berry won’t be ready to start the season, and Watts and Murray are too raw to control the middle. Amerson has bad technique, Nelson tackles but does not cover. Veach needs to bring one if not two secondary contributors in to shore up the back end.
*Not seeing enough pass rush generated from the starters.

Easy 6 08-18-2018 11:36 AM

Agreed about Nelson, he has the want to but lacks the talent... jag, IMO

I agree as for your stock up and stock down players. As for the Oline and the pass rush comments, you can't expect to just bulldoze and bully every team. That Falcons team is pretty good on both sides of the ball.

I feel good about Williams and Nnadi on the Dline.

Erving is obviously a weak link on the Oline.

Nelson and Amerson are ok but you need a better #2 CB if you want to have a top D.

NJChiefsFan 08-18-2018 04:59 PM

I think if we had Peters and Fuller that Nelson would be fine. I think he is a decent 3. An average nickel back. It's just a lot of pressure on the secondary when we have nothing at the 2 and average at the 3.

I guess he just doesn't close well. He always seems to be on his guy but just not enough to break the play up. He has the capability of having good games though.

MarkDavis'Haircut 08-18-2018 08:35 PM

That was a cool throw.
