He was a great man with a great message. He brought hope to millions, including me. Life very well lived.

“Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, 'Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.' His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'”

RIP Billy Graham, wow.
I was surprised to see he was still alive as he was old to me when I was a kid. My Grandma used to follow him closely. |

RIP, Billy. You walked the talk. |
Yeah to both. 99? Was still alive?
|
I'll forever identify him with the powerful voice coming out of the speakers in my dad's old Chevrolet during his radio program, "The Hour Of Decision". He was a great man.
|
I remember as a young teenager - my parents always watched Billy Graham's televised "Crusades" when they would be on CBS? I think...It was always pretty cool when he invited anyone to come to the front and thousands would come down to the stage from the stadium.
He truly was a great man. RIP |

Later it was the TV show. I listened or watched more of him than my Cardinals games. |
Gone to Heaven for sure
|
RIP - good life, overall though.
|
I went to a couple of his services as a child in Kansas City. He was a good man, and he helped a lot of people.
|
“Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.”
A true believer, RIP. |

Preacher drove by in his Cadillac
I waved at him, but he didn't wave back. |
I'd say rest in peace, but thats a given... easily one of the greatest men of my lifetime
|
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Nothing like making God a profit driven business. |
Bingo!!!

But since you're interested in tearing down a great man, go ahead and find something that talks about him living lavishly on the money he raised |

He was a misogynist and a homophobe… Doesn't need a scandal to make him a primitive minded ****ing piece of shit |
And I'm reminded once again of the Mandela effect.

Or maybe people make BANK off of “ministering.” What’s the misinterpretation of “man cannot serve both God and money?” Or “Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.” The translation is actually “go on TV and ask poor people to give donations so you can build big ass churches and fly private and live super comfortably, cuz you’re a minister.” |
Jesus was very very clear on money, and it wasn’t for net worth. It was for helping the sick, the pooor, the disenfranchised, the imprisoned. It wasn’t for crystal palaces.
|
Was he the one who said that God would strike him dead if people didn't give to his ministry?

Enjoy burning in hell Billy!
Every 16-year-old-burger-flipper earning an honest paycheck from working hard today provides a greater service to society than you did in your lifetime. |

I haven't conned poor people into agreeing with my fantasy beliefs so I make 25 million dollars off them, and not pay a dime towards the tax system that a Hy Vee cashier contributes to on her first day of minimum wage. |
I think Billy Graham was basically a good man, and was a sinner as we all are. But his kids basically took over his ministry and are the ones who made the mega-bucks.
Joel Osteen, on the other hand, is a worthless huckster. The Houston Flood proved that to me. |

Lol didn't he used to talk to snakes and remove evil spirits from people on stage by talking in Slytherin?

Good riddance. Now if Joel and Pat can leave.....

Billy wasn't about to speak up and prevent his flock from raking in every last penny their tax free status afforded them; but, he wasn't directly doing the dirty deeds himself. |
Heaven welcomed home a great man of God today. Thank you Mr. Graham, for your service to the Lord.

Seems to me your hatred is misguided. You should be angered at the American tax system, not somebody who played the game according to the rules IMO |
