Succop gets paid
Titans signed K Ryan Succop to a five-year, $20 million contract.
Succop had been set for unrestricted free agency. The deal includes $7.5 million guaranteed and is one of the richest ever for a kicker. The Titans' kicker since 2014, Succop converted 83.3 percent of his field goal attempts last season. That was actually his worst number as a Titan but still above the "acceptable" threshold of 80. With a career long of 54, Succop doesn't have a particularly big leg. |
He's no Butker, but congratulations to him.

Good for him.

It has to be close to the most money a "Mr. Irrelevant" has ever earned in the NFL, right?

Good for him. 7.5 guaranteed. Should set him for life

Way to go Titans! Spend that money on a kicker!
|
Second time in his career he’s been the highest paid kicker in the league.
**** Scott Franchise Killer Pioli. |
Dumbass move. When they pay Mariota it will be even a dumber move.
|
The last sentence says it all, he can’t hit the long ones.
Waste o’ cash, but good for him. |

MVP would set up the field position and Charles/Succoup would bring home the pts...:) |

I guess we could add DJ, Flowers, and even Carr... |

I don't mind him besides the game winning kick he had against us in 2016.
He's still cool in my book. Same with Santos. Both were good kickers for this team. |

Good for him.
No reason to be mad at Succop it was the team's choice, we dumped him. |

Was about to comment on the coming Dane nuke and he beat me to it... |
Too bad Carl Peterson didn't honor Nick Lowery's contract. Succop should still be a CHIEF. He made his kick in the playoffs. HB didn't. CHIEFS lost, again.

If you actually live in Hermosa, it’s because of inheritance and not because you earned it. |
He's made a pretty penny being Mr. Irrelevant.

Suckie beat us the last two years in Arrowhead. That's the only thing I hold against him. Seabass beat us several times too. I don't like either of them, but will not deny their skills.

He also had the opportunity to beat the Chargers in 2013 in San Diego, once in regulation and once in OT. He failed both times. **** him. |
