Should be an instant upgrade over your other 2nd and 3rd CB's. Not sure he can still run as fast as Gaines but he has better fundamentals than Gaines. Going to take some time for him to get into football shape.

I don't think there's any question he's better than Gaines and Acker. He's not the old Revis but 50% of old Revis is better than 100% of new Gaines.

I don't know what to think about this because Revis was so bad last year and he's 32. At the same time he only has to play well for 6 games and if he does that I feel like we might be able to blitz more which would really help with the pass defense. D-Line played better last week and Ragland has shown to be a great run defender.

Maybe he can help impart some helpful coaching to the current secondary. Maybe start with how to track the ball on deep routes. Leverage, reading the receiver, how to stay on your feet. Ok....pretty much everything.
