Tyreek Hill
He's the best WR in football right now.
Prove me wrong. |
Yes!
|
You're asking Chiefs fans on a Chiefs forum to prove you WRONG that he's the best WR right now?
Odd. Don't think you'll find too many arguing with you. |

I cannot prove you wrong. I declare you the winner of this debate.

If he's #1....then Michael Thomas is a close ****ing 2nd.
|
definitely right there with julio and brown

That one catch on the sideline was un****ingreal and probably the most underrated play of the game.

Would have been THE play everyone talked about had we won. Shame. |

It's hard to play this game. Lots of great WRs for different uses. Great fit for our offense though. Guys like DeAndre Hopkins, thielen, and Antonio brown are pretty damn good too and I'd bet disgustingly good if they played with Mahomes. If I want a speed guy, tyreeks my guy. If I want a jump ball guy, I go with DeAndre. Etc. I'm just happy he's on our team.

Bobby Sippio, champ
|
For whatever it's worth, after last night's game he's the top WR in fantasy football in terms of points.
Seems like even our nauseating resident SJWs have to admit that Hill has worked his ass off to become much, much more than a track guy playing WR. He's made himself a very good route-runner and his hands are very good as well. |

I never thought I'd see a Chiefs receiver go for 200+ yards in a game.
Get ready to back up that Brinks truck, Clark... |
He is live now.

But he offended several CP members wives, so they will never cheer for him or some shit...
|
Man, those guys will be expensive: Hill, Jones, Fuller, Ford (probably not resigned though)

Top 5 WR's in NFL:
OBJ, Reek, AB, Julio, Thomas. You can debate the order. |
Cheetah rocks. That catch was crazy. (Inside the ten, let it go plz.) Most electric player in NFL.

Hill, Jones, Fuller on contract years and right in their prime and all about to cash in. Houston, Berry, Kelce, Schwartz, Fisher, etc. getting older but still good. Ford on the franchise tag and possibly last year in KC. Veach just has to go hard on getting good additions on the secondary, which might not be easy, and add a good interior Oline. |
Does anybody else look over at the Dolphins and wish Albert Wilson were able to play the slot in our current offense? Damn, that would be dirty.
|
Quote:
What could actually help this offense is a better Oline. |
He played like his hair was on fire
I cant even remember the last Chiefs receiver to go for 200+ |

No, he's who you send to kill the Boogeyman. |

I think I'd still take Julio.

Julio is the one I'd bounce for Hopkins, sorry. He's probably going to be the first one to fall off the cliff, too

And 3 measly touchdowns and might miss the playoffs.
|
Tyreek gonna get 20/m a year on his next deal
|
Top 2 or 3 for sure. He's made some bone headed plays though that have cost the team, especially last night. Fix that and he will be considered the best

It wasn't flashing the peace sign, it was turning around, facing the defended and flashing the peace sign in his face. That's the penalty - taunting. Lame, I know but it was taunting. Just hold the peace sign straight up while running in the end zone without facing the defender.
|
I think Julio is the best WR but that's only because he's bigger and taller. Basically he's only better because of things Tyreek can't control. But pound for ppound, Tyreek is the best to me. There isn't a flaw to his game.

As I said, lame call
|
well he scored me 48 points in FFL last night so, YES!
|
Yeah.
I said before the year he'd have 1600+ yards and 12+ TD's. He's at what? 1100 and 11? Hill was better last year than he produced statistically. His combination of speed, explosiveness, COD ability, and ball tracking ability are not things I've ever seen from ONE player. He's uniquely gifted at all of these things. It's really the other worldly speed that puts it over the top. There's fast. There's fast guys who make fast guys look slow. Then there's Tyreek Hill. That he can reach full speed from a stop in like 2 steps and also change directions at near full speed only make it more ridiculous. |

He is a shorter, faster Randy Moss. And by that I'm basically comparing the dominance factor. No one in the league could cover Moss, and no one can cover Tyreek. As good as Owens and Harrison were and OBJ and Nuk are, Moss and Hill are two completely different freaks to their peers. Teams have taken OBJ out of the game. Teams routinely take Julio out in red zone defense. Teams categorically cannot stop Hill, he is just literally too fast. Zone? Man? Short, deep? Nothing.

2) He’s physically on the decline. |
I'd like to take this moment to think back on Hill's first training camp when I saw him make a cut and completely burn a defender and I came on here saying his comp is Antonio Brown and I got roasted on here.
You were right, he's much faster than Brown. |

Either way,you can't go wrong. Like I said, the only reason Julio is better is just something Tyreek can't control, his height. That just shows how great Tyreek is at everything else. Posted via Mobile Device |
Here’s a hot take.
Tyreek Hill belongs on the All-Time NFL 53 man roster. If he still returned kicks and teams would consistently punt to him, he would be the greatest return man of all time. Additionally, he’s turned into a lethal wide receiver. He can even be used as a running back at times to add another dimension. When assembling the all-time 53 man roster, Tyreek deserves a spot. |
100%. He is one of the 5 most unique players in NFL history, I think. He is just straight-up the fastest player I've ever seen on a football field -- from 0 to let's say 30-40-50 yards, where it really matters (there's no such thing as needing 90-yard speed, which some long-strider can maybe beat him out on... maybe).
Hill, Vick, Bo Jackson, maybe Bob Hayes? Deion. Jim Brown, I guess. Not sure where Moss or Calvin fit in that description - kind of an oxymoron. Then you've got guys like Mario Williams and Vernon Davis but that's more about being an athlete than a football player; Hill has clearly proven his actual football skill. Not that those guys were scrubs. |
Hill, Thelien, and Thomas are definitely the top 3. Idk what order tho.
|
I personally saw the worlds fastest human Bob Hayes. Hank Stram drafted olympic 100 yard sprinter Robert Hines who also was a world record holder seen him to he had no hands lol.
Tyreek looks faster than I remember them. It his quickness just incredible. When I see him interviewed all his actions and expressions are even quick and fast. |
Welp this is starting point for his extention. Probably gonna get 5% more than this:

Again, it's so hard to rate what receiver's better than the other. Thomas catches every damn thing his way. Hopkins is outrageously athletic at getting to the ball. Tyreek is unguardable speed wise. Depends on your offense and your QB. Thomas is a really really great guy for Brees while Tyreek is a really really great guy for Mahomes. |
Hill is even better when Watkins is on the field. Bye week and the Faiders after that gives him a great opportunity to get healthy. We will need him healthy & on the field in the playoffs.
|
Hill was dominating against the Rams. Total stud.
|
Thomas is a product of Brees. Hill is a once in a lifetime talent

They dink and dunk like no other especially in that dome. Nothing like what Reek is doing downfield.
|
Thomas is a very good WR, but he's much closer to a Torry Holt than Randy Moss. No shame in that, some idiots would even tell you Holt is better (LOL), but yeah, there's a very clear difference between MT and Hill. Our offense would not be what it is with MT, while the Saints with Hill... there are no words. Brees practically said it himself.
|
He's on pace to have a top-20 all-time season in terms of Yards and top-10 for TDs. If he replicates last night at least once more, he could have a top-10 all-time in yards in a season.
|
Pay the man!

Plus If he was taller there is no way he could maintain his COD and explosion. There's a reason you rarely see corners taller than 6 feet, and it's because taller guys generally can't turn or change directions as quickly. If he's six foot four, he's a different player. I'm happy with what he is. In the modern NFL where physicality and size are less valuable than they used to be (because of rules limiting physicality) Hill's talents are especially valuable. 15 years ago you could grab a guy like Hill. Rough him up more at the LOS. You just can't do that anymore. Guys have to try and run with him and nobody can do it. |
