And my mom is Geechee, and she remains confused at how that gene passed me by. Ans trust me, I love everything from raw ousters, to raw eggs, sushi, and beef tartar, so it ain't the snot! And when I have pickled green tomatoes sitting there, yeah, I'm nto going to worry if the lady in the kitchen comes out, and she did, I solved that with a hug and telling her I'd marry her daughter if I wasn't engaged (even though it didn't happen). Tell them your the product of a geechee lady and they let you slide, but tell you, "it's wrong jus da same!!!"
And to this day I want to know how southern women who are frying chicken can still spell like apricots when you hug them!
