Yards Per a game is a bad stat to go by considering you play "Prevent" D when you are up as much as we have been.
I'm not implying the Chiefs are better on defense than the Patriots, just by all the metrics the gap isn't as large as you would like to think it is.

Actually, I agree with much that you say there. YPG = bogus PPG can also be skewed. But so can each and every one of the metrics you cite.
TOs.... not a definitive indicator, as they occur for any number of different reasons, other than forced. Even picks...some are created, but many are gifts, as I'm sure you would agree.
"Better at rushing the passer...". Given that NE plays more contain than rush the passer during the regular season, it shouldn't be surprising that the Chiefs outshine them there. How'd the Pats look against the Chargers last week, in that department?
I'll get back to you on SOS analysis....haven't evaluated that yet, but in the past, I've heard the same thing from others, only to find out that it didn't hold water. We'll see.
And BTW, I posted my comment I n response to yours where I thought you were suggesting to the other person that KC was obviously the more do inant D. I don't think they are at all, but that doesn't mean I think NE is dominant either. But I don't believe you will be watching the same D you saw from NE in Week 6. They are clearly getting it all going at just the right time, judging by what we all saw last week.
