Clark took a LOT of horrible shots tonight. Glad they won, though.

I didn't like that call in the heat of the moment. But watching it after the fact, if you're not going to call that moving screen, then why call any of them. That was definitely a foul.

One of the most vocal gayhawk fans on CP bitching about officiating, and not even when it's not about the gayhawks. Color me shocked I tell ya.

Soft, just like that call.

Simmons may not be a KU guy but he is a guy who watches a lot of basketball and has almost certainly never seen anything like that call to end a game in his life.

Reminds me of the defensive holding call against the eagles in the Super Bowl that everyone complained about- “yeah it was technically a hold but you can’t make the call in that situation”

If it’s the right call, it shouldn’t matter when it’s called. A foul is a foul.

ChiefsFanatic 04-06-2024 05:36 AM

This is funny AF.

She is one of my favorite basketball players ever, and this is brilliant. You may have to listen twice to catch them all.

That is more a credit to UConn’s defense. That girl who guarded her was relentless on defense. Off and on the ball. I don’t know how you can do that with zero rest.

KenPom boy ruined ANOTHER basketball thread?

But it didn’t end the game. Uconn could have rebounded the missed free throw and still had a chance. It changed the game, but it didn’t end it.

That was absolutely the right call. She wasn't set and stuck the leg out. That's a trash pick.

100% the right call.

she was not set and one foot was off the floor

it was a foul
it was not a fair catch

I hope Iowa has a chance vs SC. They are very very good.

Intentional to get you all talking about women's hoops ROFL

Nah. That ref just ensured job security for a long time. Women's basketball is mainstream relevant for exactly one more game. That ref (not saying intentionally) made sure that they are gonna get every drop of juice out of that last squeeze.
