Yes! Mahomes is #1 on the depth chart at quarterback.

But i heard from some people here last year that he would ride the bench for at least 2 years.

I look at the WR,RB and TE and agree with a few other threads.

How the F are they going to cover all of those guys??????????

smithandrew051 08-04-2018 06:49 PM

I feel much better about our front 7 this year. Lots of young guys in Nnadi, Tanoh, and Speaks. Much more exciting than Freaking Zombo and Old Man Tamba.

****ing Charger Cheap Shot Scumbag.

Think you nailed it. I was very high on DAT before the concussion and bitterly disappointed [but empathetic on a personal level] at the prospect of squandered potential after. Would be great to see him return to early form.

You douches need to chill with your Sorenson hate, he played like shit last year admittedly in his stupid new role, however our D stats actually improved when Berry was out a few years ago and Sorenson also was directly responsible for two wins which he never gets credit for. One being he nailed the qb giving Berry the long int return against the Falcons and he had another game winning play that year also that I'm too lazy to look up.

He's not nearly as bad as you haters make him out to be and I suspect if Sutton doesn't try to make him into a LB again you'll see him return to form. Don't even really like him or anything, but the hate is delusional. He is probably overpaid by a few million.

Sorenson sucks, bro. He's always sucked.

If he was $1 mil and purely a backup, we'd have no issue with him.

Also, he's white so F him

Hey! That's my thing!

DS is not an aids fire, at worst an overpaid and below average to average NFL starter. Considering production/dependability/cost he is an absolute bargain when compared to Eric Berry since both became Chiefs, Berry costs 2-3 times as much and only plays 50% of his contract and then absolutely went in dry as strong as he could and got every single penny possible from the Chiefs and frankly KC. "Sorry about my gigantic rookie deal and those two cancer seasons (he sucked for a year before diagnosis) and the two ACL years but how bout I forget all that and rape you anyways?"

EB is the most overpaid KC safety and should not have been signed to that mega deal, the defense barely dipped except last year out of all the years he has missed and now we are stuck with him. Send some hate his way how about?

Berry's been All-Pro three times. He's never sucked; that's ridiculous. His only issue was people expecting Ed Reed type production in his rookie season.

Apparently.. he says he's actually right handed, too, so that play was just off from the start.

I will say considering injury odds and performance, the early years of Abdullah and Parker were more effective statistically and financially than even most of the best Berry years. I'll also say I had eerie feelings of "this only makes sense if they stay healthy and max perform" on the both the Houston and Berry mega deals and thus far both have not panned out in our favor. When it comes to superstar 2nd contracts I am beginning to think two mid range talents are the safer bet.

If you don't think Berry is giving us the bang for the buck, how can you think Sorenson is? He was decent at his previous role and horrible at filling in for Berry last year. At 4 plus million I don't see how he gets defended when considering value.

Hog's Gone Fishin 08-04-2018 08:45 PM

You guys can bitch about Sorenson all you want but you know what???

Coach Reid really likes the guy and he isn't going anywhere.

Now if you think you know moar than coach thats fine but thats your problem

Three7s 08-04-2018 08:45 PM

The only thing that concerns me about the roster at this point is a serious lack of depth on OL. Cam Erving is actually listed as a starter and, other than Witzmann, there is literally no one that could take over for an injury and not be a disaster.

Hope all the starters on the OL stay healthy!

He's a "bring your lunch pail to work" kind of guy. Never going to be a superstar, but he'll give you all he's got.
