There ya' go. A combine. Or a couple highway grade snowblower trucks? Zombies in, red mist out.

At least that's quiet. People are ignoring the attractive danger of noise and heat when they talk of burning the ravine or culling with firepower.

What's to attract? They're already there. If the heat draws more of them to jump in the pit then all to the good?

My first thought was burn them out, or just block off the road pretty much like Carter suggested. LETTING THEM ALL OUT seems pretty damn stupid.

I mean, I get the noise factor but it seems to me that it's a huge ass PIT...you have "the high ground" so to speak...there has to be a better way than letting them all out...I mean shit, you spent all that time building a temporary funnel wall thing...how about just wall the bastards in to the pit?

Unless I'm missing something...this seems like a plan taylor-made for TV...

I run heavy equipment every day.... A trackhoe with a full tank of fuel and there wouldn't be a walker left in about an hour...

Used to drive one of these in a giant feedlot in shithole w kansas. When you ran over a stray cow you didn't even notice.

Had to google image trackhoe. Yeahbuddy, that'd do the trick. And you could dig a hole to dump 'em in when you were done...
