Good job Holland, you ****ing bum.

kcpasco 05-19-2018 04:27 PM

Put Holland on the DL so Mike can’t use him.

kcpasco 05-19-2018 04:47 PM

Thanks Mike.

Hicks is way way better than Holland. And Hicks hasn't even learned to pitch yet, he's just throwing.

This dogma of "you cant have enough pitching" is a truism but..............we need some better risk management polices.

I'm rethinking this year doesn't matter. 2019 is when we can contend and actually win some playoff games.

Reyes is looking like he's on track to be back to form by mid-season. If Martinez pitches like he is capable of, Reyes and Martinez would match up with any teams first two pitchers we would see in a playoff series. We have enough pitching to see who would start the 3rd game and the one time 4th game.

What we are missing a MOTOB. Even if Ozuna turns it around, we still need more. We should trade Jose Martinez to an American league team where he can DH. Surely, he has value now especially to an American league team. Match that with some surplus pitching and outfielders.

Surely there is a deal to be had. right?

Need to lose out, so Matheny and Mo get shit canned.

Guys like Martinez aren't exactly rare. You wouldn't get more than a middle reliever out of him, given his track record and age. Reyes isn't a sure thing, either. Prospects (Taveras, Miller, Wacha, Rasmus) will break your heart.

l don’t get this, how can he be only worth a middle reliever? There were 13 total hitters in the NL with >.300 BA., 13. Right now he’s hitting >.300. If hitting >.300 is such a rare skill in baseball, why isn’t it valued?

kcpasco 05-20-2018 01:16 PM

Kind of feel bad for Flaherty. He’s gonna need to pitch a 9 inning shutout to get his first win.

Marcellus 05-20-2018 01:30 PM

Holy shit Fowler did something positive on the bases.

you give this Philly team a chance to screw up a throw on the infield, they will oblige.

Because BA is the most overrated stat in baseball outside of saves.

Jewish Rabbi 05-20-2018 02:30 PM

Only 6 doubles in the last 5 games for Carpenter? Can we bench this POS already?

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-20-2018 02:39 PM

Outside of Dusty Baker, only Matheny is dumb enough to bring Flaherty back out when the Cards are up four and he's at 105 pitches. **** idiot ****.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-20-2018 03:02 PM

Hicks' last two pitches are 104.2 and 105. Just threw another one 105.
