I really was hoping the Houston series was a sign of life/the team waking up. That has turned sour in a hurry.
Offense has to do more. If Cain, Hosmer and Gordon don't produce, this offense probably isn't good enough. They're pressing. Still a lot of season left, but they need to turn it pretty damn quick or they're going to get buried in the standings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hosmer: if he starts hitting, might be able to get a good prospect (top 40-50 type) as the centerpiece, with a couple of additional pieces. Would expect a healthy Cain to return a similar haul, as well as Moustakas. Escobar really doesn't have any trade value of note. His defense and offense have both regressed significantly. 9 down. 16 more to go in April.
I'll guess a 9-16 record at end of month. |
We can see now why the projections hated this team

Maybe those idiots knew what they were talking about all along. But it is too early for that...for now. |

I hate Alex Gordon and Alex Smith. Eff anyone named Alex for that matter.

GMDM has done a poor job of putting together this atrocious bullpen. Coulple that with no hitting from Cain, Homer, Moss and even Moustakis. A recipe for 100 losses.
