I don't think this is a huge reach at all. He was already a 1st rounder before the record 40 time.

Ross would've never made it past Titans

The oldest living Cleveland Brown, Ara Parseghian, makes his way to the stage with a card in hand.

No such thing as a reach if the player's a great fit and you won't get another shot at him (and you wouldn't have; I'm not sure he'd have made it past Denver's spot but I know he wouldn't have made it past SFs).

It's a muddy-ass middle that's built for trade-downs but a solid move in this kind of exercise.

Agreed

He's still walking, so we'll note that he had a 14-game career with the Browns during the 1948 and 1949 seasons. As a halfback, he ran the ball 44 times for 166 yards and had 3 receptions for another 33. He scored two touchdowns.

Rain Man really was a great addition LMAO

Rain Man 03-21-2017 10:07 AM

He's almost there. He's working his way up the stairs.

He was part of two AAFC championship teams, playing alongside Hall of Famers Otto Graham and Marion Motley, and who can forget that kicking tackle, Lou Groza.

Alllllmost there.

Rain Man 03-21-2017 10:08 AM

Oops, he dropped his card. Just a minute.

With the 1-12 pick in the 2017 draft, the Cleveland Browns select Mitchell Trubisky, Quarterback, North Carolina.

Rain Man 03-21-2017 10:12 AM

I'm really torn on that pick. My hunch says I should go with Deshone Watson, and he would be a better fit for the Browns as they stand. But Trubisky has good stats and may be the better long-term fit if he survives the first couple of seasons. He seems to be a safer bet, particularly to get the Browns competitive again.

What do you think? Right decision or wrong decision?

I'm just going to start calling him Brian or something. It's too confusing. I meant the Deshaun one.

And why is every wide receiver over the past ten years named Mike Williams? Stop it, people. If your last name is Williams, stop naming your kid Mike.

Rain Man 03-21-2017 10:17 AM

Ara Parseghian is headed back down the stairs now.
