Round 6 is up. Not sure what happened, but Chargem is right. BossChief is on the clock, so Duncan's pick isn't in yet.

Bosschief should take James Williams just because it'd be hilarious

Kellerfox sent me his pick:
The Pittsburgh Steelers select Jaden Crumedy, DT, Mississippi St. |
Long wait for another Chiefs pick, but I feel like I got insanely lucky with this draft so far. Normally these drafts on the forum go terribly for the Chiefs but if this happened in the real draft I would be pretty pumped

https://static.scientificamerican.co...E0E_source.jpg "We'll get the official business over with first," he says. "We will go with small and quick, much like the Martian moons of Phobos and Deimos." "The Cincinnati Bengals select Anthony Gould, WR, Oregon State." "And now onto the important stuff: double naming. I present to you perhaps the most famous poem of perhaps the most famous double-named poet: e.e. cummings. Let me know your interpretation of the poem." l(a or (A leaf falls on loneliness) by e.e. cummings l(a le af fa ll s) one l iness (There's no line break problem. That's how the poem is structured.) |
e.e. cummings sends a lower case message to kellerfox that he's on the clock.

Staylor, misspelling on pick #179, believe it’s should be Estime.

Staylor - think I bongled the spelling on my pick. Believe it should be “Jalyx” - though I’m seeing both spellings online in a couple places. I initially copied my spelling from Dane Brugler, but Jalyx appears to be the more commonly used version online.

Also with that last pick, the Steelers are done with their draft.
1-20: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama 2-51: Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota 3-84: Sedrick Van Pran, OC, Georgia 3-97: Jalen McMillan, WR, Washington 4-118: Christian Jones, OT, Texas 6-178: Jaden Crumedy, DT, Mississippi State 6-195: Jalyx Hunt, DE, Houston Christian Honestly not happy with my work this year. I like most of the picks in a vacuum, but the board didn’t fall the way I hoped with the strategy I employed. It won’t offer significant help this year at their biggest needs. Namely, I passed on a Center in round 1 with the hopes of snagging Frazier at 51. Oops. I don’t think the Steelers can afford to settle for a round 3 center. Real life - Once Powers and Barton are off the board (if not taken by the Steelers), they’re trading up for Frazier. More likely, I think they just take Powers outright at pick 20. A few FA signings during the draft also adjusted priorities concurrent with my selections. Hindsight is 20/20 (and easy to have seeing how things played out), but I’d take a very different path through the draft with a do over. The good: Went with what I feel was BPA with the first two picks, these two DBs will be good building blocks for continued defensive excellence. Got two likely starters for the Steelers on the OL, though I’m not sure either significantly improves team OL play for 2024. That’s unfortunately a testament to how bad the line currently is. Christian Jones (RT) lets them shift BRoderick Jones to LT. |

"I can calculate the distance that our next pick can be to blot out the sun, and it's further away than you think. He's a large mass who produces his own gravity." The Cincinnati Bengals select Walter Rouse, OT, Oklahoma. "And now let me tell you about Bora Bora. Located halfway between Australia and South America, Bora Bora is part of French Polynesia, more specifically in the Society Islands. Contrary to occasional confusion, Bora Bora is NOT located in Tahiti, but is a bit northwest of Tahiti. First settled in the 3rd century, it was found by Europeans in 1722. The record low temperature for Bora Bora in recorded history is 64 degrees, and the record high is 97 degrees. The average temperature is roughly 82 degrees. Bring your swimsuit. Yeah, I wouldn't mind visiting there. https://boraboraphotos.com/wp-conten...mt-otemanu.jpg |

The San Francisco 49ers select Dylan McMahon, IOL, N.C. State
They would have taken a defensive end, but: 1) There are none worth the pick at this point 2) Kyle Shanahan can't handle the commissioner insisting on referring to them by a dumb, made-up name that takes more letters to spell than the proper abbreviation for teams that run an even front as well as teams that run an odd front. |

We choose to go to the Super Bowl in this decade, not because it is easy, but because it is hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept. And to do that, we need the right people on the team. One of those is about to be revealed to you." "The Washington Commanders select Jarvis Brownlee, CB, Louisville."
