Pick #32: The Independence Explorers select a white RB to go with their exceedingly white QB.
Carson City Aces on the clock. |

I'm not entirely certain that he's not a sort of 1-dimensional pass-rusher type, but that's kept Terrell Suggs in the league for like 15 years. He reminds me quite a bit of Suggs but 24. Very good player. |
Choice for me was between Mixon and McCaffrey, and I went into the pick thinking I was going to go with Mixon. But I decided I like McCaffrey's receiving, so I made the pick there. Probably regret it.
|
I'm pretty happy with the trade got another elite player on the roster. Hopefully the board lands the way I'm anticipating it and I hit on 78 & 126 I could have a pretty nice roster brewing.

Pick #33: Carson City takes Melvin Gordon III
The San Marcos Salty Dogs are on the clock. |
anyway we can unlock the gameplanning tabs? I would love to start locking my players in to see where i stand, especially for later rounds

I believe Wilson had his worst year in 2018 when it comes to rushing, plus he didnt score any TD's, and he is 30. He was rushing for 500+ yards and scoring td's on the ground. I went younger with higher upside. |
Sandbox Simulations is open for business! Sign up now!
Mother****er. This is horseshit.
Patrick Peterson and Minkah ****ing Fitzpatrick at the top of the 2nd round. You’ve gotta be ****ing kidding me.. I had trouble just getting my ****ing draft tab to load. It took me like an hour to scroll down the list of players just to put a bunch of names on my board. It wouldn’t even let me rearrange my draft board. I’m at work now and the draft page still won’t load on my phone. At this point I’ve used my iPad, my phone, and my laptop. Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. This shit still doesn’t work for me. |
LMAO My God. My shit auto-drafted Minkah ****ing Fitzpatrick with Jalen Ramsey still on the board?!?
I’m going to kill myself. |

So that's a positive step... |

Oh, well. It’ll just be all the sweeter when I take the first chip over all of you whores. |
LOL Honestly. Dawg. I’m still laughing..
This shit really auto drafted Minkah Fitzpatrick over Jalen Ramsey! I’m crying. |
If the draft machine could just go ahead and auto-draft Brady so that I don't have to talk myself out of him for the next couple of picks, that would be great.
I mean shit, the guy's probably gonna stick around longer than Luck at this point. I'm not sure he's human. |
Where do I go see trade proposals - i have a message but cant find it anywhere...
Oh wait is that just the announcement of the trade? |

Pick #34: San Marcos Salty Dogs take Fletcher Cox.
Pick #35: Nashville Golden Mules take Chris Jones. Pic #36: Corona Light take Tom Brady. Kansas City Kings are on the cloc. |
Rainman - wasn't there a 'playoff availability' dice game of sorts?
So if a player misses week 17, that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be available in the post-season unless the ended the season on the IR. I thought I remembered you telling us there was some sort of calculation based on how many weeks the guy had been out as to whether or not he'd show up in post-season play. Can you give a little more insight on that? Have you done so already and I just missed it? |
Nashville Golden Mules building a defense to rival the Headhunters with Von Miller and Chris Jones.
I'm glad neither of these teams are in my division. |

Sorry, meant to say the San Marcos Salty Dogs.
Fletcher Cox and Von Miller. |
This is neat.
I love you all. |
It's even more fun when the actual games begin.
People gonna be so salty. |

How does the sim control retirements? Is it like Madden and it says when they retire, or does it follow real life? |

CD/Rainman, I assume we're playing a season based on last year before the rookie draft, yes? So we pick our teams, run the season out, get our slotting, do our rookie draft and then we wait. So a 2 year contract we give to someone like Brady (in my case, Suggs) gets us 1 season of a 'known' quantity and then maybe he retires the following year and we end up eating a single season. That all about right? |
Pick #37: KC Kings take Odell Beckham Jr.
Jonesboro Golden Hurricanes are on the clock. DJ's Left Nut, please pick up the red phone. |
LMAO I didn't see Beckham when I picked assumed he was already gone. Boy what a cluster ****.
|
Why would you want him anyway? 12 games? No thanks.
|
Pick #38: Jonesboro Golden Hurricanes take Andy Dalton.
Taking offers for pick 39. |
Biggest whiny bitch so far, DJ’s left nut.
Can’t wait to destroy him. |

I don't think we have any potential deals at this time.
Pick #39: Aberdeen Anarchy take Travis Kelce. Saint Joseph Samurai are on the clock. Interested in trading up from #58 at this time. |
Quote:
I was dead ass certain somebody would come calling for him with that pick. Your Ramsey pick makes plenty of sense but I'm floored that OBJ fell that far. |
Alright I have to piss off for about an hour, but again:
Aberdeen is very interested in moving up from #58. I'll check my PMs after I get back and hope it's filled with lucractive trade options. King Carl, OUT https://nbcprofootballtalk.files.wor...5&h=296&crop=1 |
Counter offer sent, Patroons. That's way too far to move down unfortunately.
|
god damnt...the trade proposal function keeps ****ing up
it wont allow me to select draft picks..it won't do anything on the selection drop down. ive tried refreshing 3-4x |
k well now it worked....after about 10x and it kicking me out 2x .....hmmmph

Says I have a trade message. I can’t find it?

Trades-pending trades
|
Pick #40: Saint Joseph Samurai take JJ Watt
Enid Alliance are on the clock. |
Quote:
FYI, apparently every rejected trade becomes public. Better do my negotiating via PM from here on out. |
With JJ Watt off the board, the Anarchy are staying put.
|
Enid is in a staff meeting. I have no idea how long he'll be in there but I don't suspect it'll be too terribly long. We missed him by 3 minutes.
|
I see the transaction at the top.
Columns go Trade from: select my team Item to trade: I select my team player Far column: trade to and I select other team (Miami breeze) However, I can’t select player on their team? |

took me 10 tries ....had me flustered a bit. |
I was starting to have delusions of Watt lasting until 47.

Phew. I completely forgot I traded behind Enid when I made that deal with Billay. He knows my general approach to this draft and could've blown it up a bit.
At least one of the 2 guys I wanted at 30 are still there. So while I could've made bigger splash picks (OBJ, Ramsey and Cox were clear options), if I'd have stuck with my gameplan I'd have taken one of the 2 guys still on the board anyway. So I can close the book on my draft pick trade and walk away fairly pleased. |
Pick #41: Enid Alliance take Joe Mixon
Canton Golden Norsemen on the clock. |

I can't remember who I swung one of those with last time around as I am pretty sure I died, was reincarnated and grew to maturity since the time Sandbox 1.0 was mothballed and now, but I'm pretty sure we pulled one of those off. It's kinda fun just to see if you can get a dialogue put together and a deal sealed with a couple of different parties. |
CoMo, you are up sir.
I'm pretty sure that Brown leaving will actually hurt JuJu as it would be tough to get him MORE than the 166 targets he got last year, but I really do like the guy and I put a lot of stock in the 3rd year breakout factor on WRs. There were smarter plays to make here but I let the flash get to me a bit. Dude's just a lot of fun to root for. |
Pick #42: Canton Golden Norsemen take Rob Havenstein
Pick #43: Columbia Cardinals take JuJu Smith-Schuster Blue Springs Wildcats on the clock. |
Good call on that Havenstein pick.
Watson's sack rate is absurdly high. |

Pick #45: Lawrence Patroons take Stephon Gilmore. Royal Oak Golden Knights on the clock. |
