We're counting those stats, moron. Those are included in his 14-game stretch.

But since you brought it up, if we subtract those two bullshit TD passes from Buffalo, his QB rating falls to 61.2.

L.A. Chieffan 09-26-2012 10:13 AM

So you just made up a bunch of bullshit about Cassell stats not improving even though hes got a:

A new OC
a healthy JC
Eric Winston

and yet you go back 14 games! HAHA Brilliant!

Molitoth 09-26-2012 10:14 AM

Allow me to break it down for you, mouth breather.

Cassel in 2011:

59.5%
6.4 YPA
TD percentage: 3.7%
INT percentage: 3.3%
1 sack every 12.2 pass attempts
76.6 QB rating

Cassel in 2012:

58.8% (decline)
6.8 YPA (increase)
TD percentage: 2.5% (massive decline)
INT percentage: 3.4% (decline)
1 sack every 10.8 attempts (decline)
73.8 QB rating (decline)

Cassel declined in every category but yards per attempt...and he is still 23rd in the NFL in that stat...so he still sucks.

Compared to the rest of his career, he's getting WORSE so far this season.

And it's because we're playing better teams and there is more pressure on him to perform. And every DC in the league knows how to **** his shit up.

L.A. Chieffan 09-26-2012 10:38 AM

Yeah, 3 games (2 against very good defenses) is an awesome sample size.

Going by yards per attempt:

The Saints have the 30th ranked pass defense
The Bills have the 18th ranked pass defense

Congrats to Cassel for eating shit against Atlanta's excellent pass defense, though.

By the way, get ready to watch Cassel eat MORE shit, because San Diego is giving up only 6.4 yards per attempt this season.

L.A. Chieffan 09-26-2012 10:44 AM

Did you see Aaron Rodgers miss a WIDE OPEN Greg Jennings in the flat the other night? Why dont you post a GIF of that one, HMMMM?!!?

OMGZ AARON RODGERS IS GOINGZ TO GET HES RECIVERS KILT LOLZQ!

Since Cassel has literally never come close to throwing for more yards in a game vs Philip Rivers, no.

Bewbies 09-26-2012 11:29 AM

Isn't Cassel from LA? I think we do have a brother or close friend trolling this site..

Yes, if he wants to compete in this league then he needs to be able to produce a favorable stat line against even the top defenses. Not just bottom feed with garbage stats. With The Matt Cassel, LA ChiefsFan you will always be able to draft a top ten defensive lineman.

****ing enjoy

San Diego is 9th in total defense.

Pretty sure we don't need to be throwing stones considering the Glasshole house we're living in.

Three seasons, and his 4th season, three games in, appears to be more of the same.

At this point Occam's Razor is dangerously close to helping Matt bleed out for good.

Looks like Matt is whining here.

This was after a play where he was hit hard as he released another terribly thrown pass on third down.

Daboll says something like "that shit was terrible" and Matt's body language is "not my fault."

New World Order 09-28-2012 10:17 PM

Daboll knows cassel is bad, so does Romeo, thus the push to start Brady Quinn will officially begin after casshole's miserable completion % against San Diego on Sunday.

Send Casshole to the labor camps

I didn't even notice Baldwin uncovered.

Cassel is so much fail, so hard.

DBOSHO 09-29-2012 12:25 PM

I think this might be cassels last game as a starting quarterback unless he pulls something out of his ass.

stonedstooge 09-29-2012 12:26 PM

Matt probably checked out of a quick slant on that play with his one audible; "Omaha, Omaha"

It doesn't matter WHY it happened.

What matters is that Cassel didn't even ****ing see it.

He lacks game awareness.

They're a bad defense. It happens.

If you were a more prominent poster, I'd make a bet with you that Stanzi will start at least one game this year AND will play well.

They were down more to GB back in 03'.

It was probably the largest 4th qtr comeback in Chiefs history.

Edit: I am wrong, we were down by only 17 before coming back.

BossChief 09-29-2012 08:57 PM

That was a GREAT game.

Rep to the first poster to remember who knocked the ball out of Ahman Greens hands in OT that set up the td to Kennison on the first play after the turnover.

Hammock Parties 09-29-2012 08:57 PM

Scott Fujita.

Hammock Parties 09-29-2012 09:08 PM

Might have been J. Woods. Just looked at that replay, lol.

Not iirc. The guy you guessed first (prior to edit) was the guy that recovered it, though.

Lol wow. I treat it as a message board. Not something to stand behind my words to a douche and 1,000 other people I've never met. Why would I wanna do that? Should I get satisfaction if I win a bet on a Chiefs internet message board? Stanzi for the win.

Proof that Damon Huard > Matt Cassel

Huard as Chiefs starter when the opponent scores more than 24: 2-6
Cassel as Chiefs starter when the opponent scores more than 24: 0-16

And obvious QB is obvious:

Green vs > 24: 11-23

Huard was a pretty decent QB if you gave him really good pass protection. Behind this offensive line, he would actually be doing very good. With the "run Charles first" offense, Huard would have played pretty well.

Sadly, we would be much better off with Huard.
