I just watched the highlight video again. There is at least 3 throws Mahomes made to Wilson that Alex never attempts. Those plays added up to roughly 40-50 yards.

You're blinded by your Mahomes boner. Look at which defenders Wilson beat on each of his catches. Most of his catches were short hitches and crossing routes. Those are Alex's bread and butter so I'm not sure why you think Alex wouldn't have made those throws.

He wasn't "running to his right", he was running vertically away from the pressure and the receiver and STILL made the throw on the money. That is rare talent and arm strength on display there.

Still a little bit raw, but he will get so much better with experience(hopefully). The way he scanned the entire field was very impressive, along with his arm strength and ability to stand in the pocket and make a throw knowing he was going to get hit were exceptional for a QB playing in his first game.

Robinson deserves as much credit on that play.

....he did the same thing in the preseason...play breaks down as a WR, you HAVE to either come back or create separation for your QB.
