I was thinking Almonte and Alexander.

Lefty to replace Strahm and a righty who can log some innings and has good control. I like it.

Jerok 04-12-2017 01:38 PM

Really short leash this year. We need a winning streak, sucks to be 3 under 500 right off the bat.

Unsmooth-Moment 04-12-2017 02:19 PM

Strahm still has it. He just needs to log some innings in AAA to get his control issues worked out. The Show isn't a good place to work out the kinks.

Until you finish 1 game out of a playoff spot

Don't understand why they're going to go through the trouble of putting Alex in right instead of Moss. Moss has played RF plenty more than Alex has. If you have a guy who has 4 gold gloves in left, why take him out of his routine for a guy who is going to be a mediocre fielder in comparison whether he is in LF or RF?

I believe they're really, really hoping that despite hundreds of games of precedence, that a light will turn on and make Soler a driven, competent fielder.

KCUnited 04-12-2017 03:58 PM

Not that Cub fan is known for great baseball takes but the mere suggestion of Soler as an everyday outfielder brings a hearty chuckle followed by a look to make sure you weren't just ****ing with them.

WhawhaWhat 04-12-2017 06:42 PM

Is Hochevar just done at this point? Seems weird that he's not playing anywhere.

Great Expectations 04-12-2017 06:55 PM

If Gordon is in right for the home opener we only lose by one run...

KChiefs1 04-12-2017 08:31 PM

What kinda haul will Hosmer, Moose, Cain & Escobar bring?

Gordon's contract is like an albatross around the Royals neck.

Meh, not really. He's only here for two years after this, and we'll be reloading during that time any way.
