Assuming the rain goes around you....we have something like that on the farm in Iowa.

Buehler445 06-21-2020 03:16 PM

Got a pretty good storm fired up today. 20% chance of rain LOL.

Rasputin 06-21-2020 03:18 PM

I heard tennis ball sized hail

Rasputin 06-21-2020 05:12 PM

It's storming hard. Likely to lose power this evening.

Had to put this here instead of the Epic Win Thread. Unfortunately, one death last night.

Nate Erickson survived a tornado near Dalton last night by hanging on underneath this tractor. Have fun protesting in a hurricane

Wind blew harder here Monday night...

Buehler445 07-10-2020 08:19 AM

50? That's a nice little Sunday.

At the end of harvest I hadn't checked my wells in a hot minute and really needed to get there. But Dad needed some help with the combine, so 2 hours later I'm doing it in 70 MPH wind on the last 2. Got sandblasted in the first one and the second one was ****ing raining. Had to load up my 4 wheeler in the shit. I was a drowned rat when it was all done. We only got a half inch, but I'm pretty sure I got it all in the teeth.

50...psshhh

Seems like incredibly poor decision making to stand there making light of it and filming for several minutes instead of trying to get away from it.

Sad story. Guy left behind 4 kids.

It wasn't the guy filming the tornado that died was it?

displacedinMN 07-11-2020 07:25 AM

Coogs-no. A local person in a shop. Direct hit of the tornado to the shop.

With the video I posted. I am impressed at the small size of storm at the base compared to how big the top is. Almost like you could be within feet of it and be ok.
Then seeing how hard the air is being driven into the ground.

That was an impressive video. I watched it multiple times. By the looks of the corn field, and the couple of other videos through his windshield, it must have been quite a bit bigger just prior to being the 1 yard wide in this video.
