Doc also has probably 40 pounds on Rick, and Rick was trying to give him the chance to be easy.

If there is one show that could make me go in for that upgrade, its TWD... the amount of commercials is truly over the top.

I start TWD 15-20 minutes past live start. That means I end within 5 minutes of the rest of the world, plus I get to FF through commercials.

That is what I do on almost all shows.

I DVR pretty much everything, but TWD, Breaking Bad, GoT are/were the closest I get to "appointment viewing." Most everything else can wait a day or two.

I watch TWD, BCSaul an hour after it airs and avoid twitter

It's kind of hard to put into perspective but I'd say that at it's current pace, the show is about two seasons away, maybe. They've got about three major events, (IIRC) to go.
The comics have kinda hit a real lull lately.

Maybe because the creator realized he could make a gazillion times more$$$ with a tv show vs a comic book.

I didn't realize how terrible AMC really was about commercials until I started watching some older episodes on Netflix, and see the running time anywhere from 29-34 minutes for the episode.

That's complete horseshit for a one hour time slotted show.

I suggest, if you already pay for AMC, torrenting it. Commercials are cut out.

As a 'west coastie', I do this. 3 hours is way too much spoilage time.

TV is crazy lucrative right now.

Totally agree, but then again they'll do it as long as we take it.

Price to be paid for quality entertainment. This is quality entertainment. I got no problem with the commercials. To me, it breaks up the pace nicely. Especially now with so many story line in each episode.
