Good job guys - yeah i'm down 6 in 1.5 weeks.

I'm in. A foot injury prevented me from cycling all year. That plus way too much travel and eating out has me at 200. I'm normally 180 to 185.

Anyone else on a regiment of diet/exercise right now? This is the time for it, man.. before football starts again.. :)
I am doing 60 days of training... eating less, drinking less, and tons more exercise. I started out on the 1st of the month walking about 5 miles a day, and now I walk between seven and twelve a day. Lost 17 pounds in 25 days.. definitely slowed down a bit over the several days.. I was averaging like 4.5 pounds a week the first several weeks. Started at 203, and I am down to 186. Set three targets for my weight: 1) 182 pounds (10% loss) - fairly easy and should be achievable 2) 175 pounds - my main goal 3) 168 pounds - may very well be not achievable, but I figured I should set a very challenging goal as well. 40% through the days, and 60% to my main goal. I think it is going to be slower loss and more work from here on out though. The walking may seem like a lot but 7-8 miles of that is on the beach in the morning watching the sun rise... not too bad of a workout.. ;) |
Checked the app and I've passed over 2500 miles walked since I started. Makes it more difficult when the temp "feels like" 102 degrees but I'm pushing through it. Got the experience from last year to help deal with the temps. Still trying to walk a marathon a week.
