At least this will bring out only the most hard core, and hopefully scare off any Patriots fans thinking of coming.

Cold won't scare off New England fans, it gets really cold here too.

Honestly I wouldn’t start LDT. Don’t mess with something that’s working. You have two games left. Worry about that stuff in the offseason. Wylie is a beast. Let him continue

If we make it to the Superbowl.....then I'd look to put LDT at RG and Wylie at LG after that. And that's only if LDT is 100% healthy and they're going to move Wylie to LG. That would give about 2 weeks for practice time. It's not like Wylie hasn't played LG either.

I like that we’re in a position to bring LDT back likely at 100%... he has been practicing for awhile. That said, I’m not sure I expect them to put him in right now.

I’d activate him for sure, because at worst he’s better depth than what you currently have

We have to make a decision on LDT today, yes? Anyone know what time we should hear by?

I would think people prefer super cold with no precip over the precip conditions last weekend.

Coldest overall game in Patriots history was the 2004 Divisional Round game against the Titans at Gillette. Golden boy was 21/41 with 1 TD/0 INTs and a 73.3 QBR. 4 degrees/-10 wind chill.

Coldest regular season game in Patriots history was December 2017 against the Jets at Gillette as the Patriots sought to lock up HFA. Golden boy was 18/37 with 2 TD/0 INTs and a 51.6 QBR. 13 degrees/-2 wind chill.

There's no telling the extent of the technology Belichik has installed in that stadium and field to gain an advantage. I imagine he has microphones imbedded in the field so someone can listen in to the opposing teams huddle and listen to the Oline protection calls at the line of scrimmage. An interesting tidbit came out last year during the coach hiring cycle nobody picked up on. It was said Matt Patricia was supposedly the only defensive coordinator in the league who knew every opposing offenses Oline protection rules. What's the likelihood he learned that all on his own from his own study? Maybe.

Depends on wind, I can tell you sitting in the upper bowl while the wind is howling hurts.

I was 20 years old when it was 18 degrees, by the end of the game even with all my layers I was hurting.

ROFL That makes sense to you? That somehow BB (or whoever) can listen in on the OLine protection calls and then get that info out to this players in time to effect a play?

Apparently the Patriots are REALLY deep in your head.

I don't think there is a player on the field that will be more hungry than Justin Houston. He is going eat Tom Brady flesh.

KC is 69% to win: https://live.numberfire.com/nfl/7187

He wasn't there when we lost by a field goal.

Is this year the first year Houston has been fully healthy for the play-offs? it seems like it. He made his presence known last Saturday for sure.

I mean I don’t think you can call someone the GOAT when they get humiliated by a backup QB on the biggest stage.

You know that Montana had three straight one-and-dones, with 0 TDs across those games, one of which was at home, where he lost to the immortal Wade Wilson?

Perhaps you also know, being such an NFL historian, that Montana also lost an NFC Championship Game, AT HOME, to backup quarterback (Jeff Hostetler, 1990).

But in your mind, Brady's resume would be WEAKER if he won against KC in KC, then went to the SB, played lights out, but lost, than if he got blown out by, say, 49-3 in the AFCCG the way Joe did in the NFCCG one year.

Logic...it's not for everyone.
